About PharmApplied

PharmApplied was created to make clinical pharmacy learning more practical. Clinical guidelines are essential, but they can be lengthy, difficult to compare, and challenging to apply to real-world patient care decisions.

Founded by Emmanuel Fashesin Souza, PharmD Candidate, Class of 2027, PharmApplied draws on pharmacy coursework, clinical rotations, and case-based learning. Each resource is designed to help learners understand not only what a guideline recommends, but why it matters, how patient-specific factors affect treatment, and what should be monitored next.

Our goal is to create accurate, organized, and approachable resources for pharmacy students, APPE rotations, new graduates, residents, and other healthcare professionals. PharmApplied guides combine guideline recommendations with clinical reasoning, patient cases, monitoring plans, counseling points, and practical tools that learners can use throughout their education and training.

Our mission

To help healthcare professionals understand guideline-based evidence, apply it to patients, and communicate confident clinical decisions.

What makes PharmApplied different

PharmApplied resources are built around application rather than memorization. Our materials are designed to help learners:

  • Interpret guideline recommendations
  • Identify patient-specific treatment considerations
  • Compare medication options
  • Develop monitoring and follow-up plans
  • Practice clinical reasoning through patient cases
  • Communicate recommendations clearly

Educational purpose

PharmApplied resources are intended for educational use only. They do not replace patient-specific clinical judgment, institutional policies, current prescribing information, or consultation with a qualified healthcare professional.
