Educational Use License & Copyright

Purchasing or downloading a PharmApplied resource grants the purchaser a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the resource for individual educational and professional-reference purposes.

The purchase provides permission to use the resource. It does not transfer ownership of the file, written content, graphics, layout, or other intellectual property.

Permitted uses

The individual purchaser may:

  • Download the resource to personal devices.
  • Use the resource for individual study, rotation preparation, professional development, and personal clinical reference.
  • Quote brief portions with appropriate attribution when permitted by applicable law.

Prohibited uses

Unless written permission or an applicable group license has been obtained, purchasers may not:

  • Upload the resource to shared drives, learning-management systems, group chats, websites, file-sharing platforms, or public databases.
  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, sublicense, rent, or commercially exploit the resource.
  • Remove copyright notices, branding, citations, watermarks, or ownership information.
  • Modify, rebrand, or present the resource as their own work.
  • Use the resource to create or sell a substantially similar commercial product.
  • Purchase one copy for use by an entire class, organization, workplace, or institution.

Nothing in this license limits rights that cannot lawfully be restricted, including uses permitted under applicable copyright law.

Educational limitations

PharmApplied resources are provided for educational purposes and should be used together with current guidelines, primary literature, prescribing information, institutional policies, and independent clinical judgment.

Access to future editions or updates is included only when stated on the applicable product page. A purchase does not automatically guarantee lifetime access to every future version, replacement product, or expanded edition.

License violations

Unauthorized reproduction, sharing, resale, or distribution may result in the suspension or revocation of download access. PharmApplied reserves the right to pursue available remedies when its intellectual property or licensing terms are violated.
